This Portable Sitpack Will Change the Way You Experience Music Festivals
Once upon a time, we stood in a field in rural Tennessee for hours and hours so we could be in the front row for a Radiohead show. By night’s end, our mind had been properly blown by the music, but our back and feet were freaking killing us from standing all damn day.
What we could have used in that scenario, and in many such scenarios, is the Sitpack, a portable stool that folds up into a compact tube you can carry around in your backpack or even in your pocket. Currently in development, the Sitpack features a simple design, adjustable height, and construction sturdy enough to support a grown man. According the Sitpack’s Danish creators (who, it must be said, are all adorable), the Sitpack’s ergonomic design allows users to sit with their core engaged and their backs straight, encouraging overall comfort and blood flow. We can imagine ourselves pulling out the Sitpack at festivals, the airport, in line at the DMV, and at bars where we can’t find a stool.
The creators of Sitpack are currently seeking funding via Kickstarter. Their pitch is compelling. Watch it below:
