Behold, the Coolest 3D Glasses You've Ever Seen
Most of you ravers remember that seminal moment when, during a show, someone handed you a pair of 3D glasses for the very first time. You put them on, and your mind was instantly blown by how the glasses turned the stage lights into a kaleidoscope of shapes and colors.
Now, a Hungarian company has upped the ante on this dazzling visual experience with Mood Specs, a line of glasses designed to achieve this psychedelic vision using a collection of specially designed 3D-printed lenses. The glasses come with six pairs of lenses, each featuring a different color and design, that can be mixed and matched together in the frames, which are more stylish than your average pair of 3D shades and designed to hold up to three pairs of lenses at once. The visual variations that can be created are nearly infinite, and you can even do different lens combinations in each eye. STS9 shows will never be the same.
According to the charmingly off-kilter translation on the Mood Specs website, the glasses are designed for “travel, when people listen to music, just looking out the window and watching the ever-changing sight, in a perfect harmony with the music.”
Sounds like a good time to us.
