Alan Walker has achieved remarkable success worldwide with his latest single ”Faded”. Precisely six months after its release Walker returns with the dance pop track “Sing Me To Sleep”. The title is sweet, but the theme is far from a lullaby. Iselin Solheim tells with her dramatic vocals the story about longing for a safe place in a world in constant movement. The video is shot in Hong Kong and takes you on a mission throughout the city.
“Wait a second, let me catch my breath.
Remind me how it feels to hear your voice.
Your lips are moving, I can’t hear a thing.
Living life as if we had a choice.”
”I´m so happy to finally release ”Sing Me To Sleep”. Melodies are more or less everything to me as a producer, and I´m very proud of what the team and I have put together in the studio. We have been working on this track for quite some time now, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the final result. I really hope my fans like this song as much as I do!” – Alan Walker
The 18-year old, Norwegian producer Alan Walker has emerged on the global music scene as one of the most successful artists of 2016. His record breaking single “Faded” was released on December 4th, 2015 and has today reached 3.8 million sold units worldwide and the music video has 310 million views on YouTube. It topped the singles chart in 10 countries across Europe and reached top 10 in UK, #2 in Australia and has recently entered Billboard Hot 100 in the US. It was #1 on the Global Shazam chart for 7 consecutive weeks and #1 on the European Radio chart for 6 consecutive weeks. Alan’s summer tour has already taken off, with multiple stops at major festivals throughout Europe.
Growing up in the digital era, Alan found an early interest in computers that later turned into a fascination for programming and graphic design. In 2012 he started making music on his laptop with the help and feedback from his online friends. His music gained great popularity among gamers who used Alan’s tracks in their own YouTube videos (UGC). The songs spread all over the world and later caught the attention of the record labels.
Kungs (pronounced « Koongs ») (aka Valentin Brunel) is a 20 years old producer from the south of France. He started his musical career with a djembe gifted by his parents to him at the age of five. From these early days Valentin could spend entire afternoons listening to Rock’n’Roll classics with his father. From The Who to The Kooks with many in-between, this essential listening forged the first steps to Kungs inspiration as an artist.
Discovering a passion for electronic music in his teenaged years, Kungs became infused with interest for melodic sounds and crafted timbres always lead by a dominant vocal. By the age of seventeen his interests had evolved, and creating melodies using his own instruments became a passion.
Shortly after his first experiences with a digital production software, Valentin was sharing remixes across the board of online social networks. His remix of Bob Marley - ‘Jammin’ and Lana Del Rey ft Molly - ‘West Coast’ both boast several million plays on Soundcloud & YouTube.
After a few unofficial remixes, official remixes requests were around the corner. From Axwell & Ingrosso to Lost Frequencies, Kungs quickly became a key remixer for the other DJ producers. With early support slots with significant acts from many aspects of the melodic house landscape such as Kygo and Klingande, Kungs has quickly formed into a well established artist in the scene with a tendency to provide driven and impressive production and live sets.
In January 2016, Kungs traveled the European continent alongside David Guetta in order to ensure his Listen Tour’s warm-ups. Simultaneously, his tune « This Girl », a rework of the Australian band ‘Cookin’ On 3 Burners’, has been released mid-February in Europe. This track taking the deep soul classic and speeding things up a bit while adding catchy trumpets along literally blew up in the worldwide charts.
With a #1 position in 45 countries (including France, Germany, UK), “This Girl” also reached the #26 position in the Billboard Hot 100. Supported by Martin Solveig , The Chainsmokers, David Guetta or Tiesto, “ This Girl ” is now considered as one of the biggest track of 2016.
A few month later, the highly anticipated follow-up of “This Girl” called « Don’t You Know » featuring the British singer ‘Jamie N Commons’ as been released and hit the top 10 of most of the European countries charts including a #1 airplay in France and Germany.
In order to let the world discover his musical spectrum, Kungs released in November 2016 his debut album “LAYERS” lead by his new single “I Feel So Bad”. Two month after the release, LAYERS is already gold in France.
The young producer is now sharing his vibes around the world, playing alongside names like David Guetta or The Chainsmokers. Recently winner at the French Grammys for the best electronic/dance album of the year, Kungs will also play at the prestigious festival of Coachella in April. Back in the studio, there’s a lot more to come from the rising star in 2017.
Robert Gainley and Dr. No knew of each other for a while but had never really talked about working together. It took a good amount of whiskey before they decided they wanted to see what would happen if they collaborated on a remix. The following week they sat down, put in some work, and were amazed by the results. Truly impressed by what they just created, they decided to join forces, because what's better than one handsome man who's prone to fast and saucy behavior? Two handsome men that are prone to fast and saucy behavior. This duo has gained a lot of steam in a short amount of time and have already been supported by some of the bigger players in the game.
This is only the beginning of what should be an exciting path for this duo. These two young men are often compared to Karl Malone and Jon Stockton, they always deliver and they like to wear high shorts.

After receiving the “Award of Independent Excellence” from Hollywood Music in Media Awards, Two Friends swiftly exceeded their influence beyond the online sphere, attracting the spotlight on stage and radio. While Don Diablo was dropping Two Friends remixes on Hexagon Radio, their remix of Lana Del Rey’s hit “Born To Die” scored airplay on Sirius XM, securing the boys a top ten spot in the BPM Hits Chart in 2014.
Following multiple performances at San Francisco’s Ruby Skye, as well as shows at New York’s illustrious Webster Hall and the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, the boys soon branched out to venues in Denmark, Mexico and Canada, showing off their potential in the international arena.
With support now coming from the likes of Tiesto, The Chainsmokers, Krewella and many more, and with a whole host of original releases locked in for 2016, Matt and Eli undoubtedly look set to dominate this year and beyond.
