Black Sun Empire represent the finest in dark and tech fueled dance-floor drum & bass. Since bursting onto the scene back in 2000, they’ve continued to develop their own unique style and sound, releasing numerous singles as well as four full-length LPs and establishing themselves as leaders in the field. With their impressive DJ skills and inspirational productions, Black Sun Empire have reached far beyond their native Holland. They’ve toured the world over, with highlights including Glastonbury and numerous other festival appearances, and continue to build on their growing reputation as some of the most exciting and consistent performers around. Their fifth LP ‘From The Shadows’ is a 100% Drum and Bass album will be released in September 2012. This is the follow up to the hugely successful 2010 ‘Lights And Wires’ LP that demonstrated their versatility across tempos whilst still staying true to their own sound.
Borne of brothers Milan and Micha Heyboer along with René Verdult, Black Sun Empire is a DJ/producer collective based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Since first making music together in 1993, the trio experimented with various styles until they found their musical direction around 1997 and formed Black Sun Empire. Heavily influenced by releases from the darker labels such as No U Turn, Prototype and Virus, they took the techstep drum & bass blueprint and set out to make a new sound of their own.
With a sound that was fresh, new and progressive, their early demos caught the ears of several well-established labels. Their debut release came courtesy of Rotterdam based label Piruh in 1999 with the tracks ‘Skin Deep’ and ‘Voltage’ and further release on Piruh and another Dutch imprint, DJ Esta’s “A New Dawn,” soon followed. It wasn’t long, however, before their technically proficient productions came to the attention of Trace, the long-serving DJ and techstep pioneer, and he invited Black Sun Empire to compose a remix for his label DSCi4. They took on the classic “Mutant Jazz,” and provided a remix of truly devastating proportions that announced Black Sun Empire on the UK and indeed the world scene.
Further release on DSCi4 came and were followed by remixes for SKC and Technical Itch before, in 2002, the boys decided to start a label of their own. Set up as an outlet for their increasing body of work, Black Sun Empire Recordings became home for their own productions as well as collaborations with other like-minded artists. Their first album ‘Driving Insane’ was released in 2004 to critical acclaim and featured work with the collective talents of Concord Dawn and Stu from Cause 4 Concern alongside their own material. Deft, dynamic, devastating and deranged the album announced that the day of the Dutch was dawning. Supported by a mix CD, it showcased their sound in style and coincided with a highly successful world tour, taking in dates across the UK, Europe, USA and Australia.
Motivated by the massive response they had received, the boys followed up with their second long-player, ‘Cruel and Unusual’, in 2005. Raising the banner of the Black Sun Empire even higher than before, the LP featured further collaborative work with yet more high-profile artists including Noisia, Corrupt Souls and Kemal. Feeling the urge to satisfy other sides of their collective psyche, a sister label was established in the form of “oBSEssions.” Designed to cater for atmospheric, unusual and funky flavours, this label is certainly no lightweight and proven itself as one to watch with releases from the likes of Chris SU, Noisia and SKC so far alongside newer names.
Their third LP, ‘Endangered Species,’ drew together creative minds from across the drum & bass scene with input from Noisia, Bad Robot, Chris SU, Jade, State Of Mind, D.Kay, Optiv and Audio all featuring alongside BSE. The resulting tour was a resounding success worldwide with nearly 100 gigs and was soon followed by the ‘My Lightyear LP’ Tour alongside Telemetrik, to promote his debut album on BSE Recordings. In 2009, BSE stayed on a roll with a whole raft of releases across their labels including collaborations with State Of Mind, N.Phect and Eye-D and opened their dubstep label, “Shadows of the Empire.”
November 2010 brought the release of their fourth LP ‘Lights and Wires’ and an accompanying world tour, taking them to the USA, Australia, New Zealand and beyond. ‘Lights And Wires’ displayed their incredible versatility across tempo’s and genres and cemented their reputation again as unique, talented artists. Black Sun Empire continued to grow their musical reach in the first half of 2012 with a remix of Noisia’s ‘Thursday’ for the Mau5trap release of the Noisia album, plus a high profile collaboration with Foreign Beggars entitled ‘Solace One’ for their ‘Harder They Fall’ EP.
Never losing touch with their roots, Black Sun Empire continue to promote their bi-monthly event ‘Blackout’ in their home town of Utrecht which has recently celebrated it’s ninth birthday. This well-established event has attracted some of the best in DJ talent from across the globe and regularly draws crowds of up to 1,000 people, and has now spread to high profile residencies in Brussels and London.
The Black Sun Empire musical and creative strength leads to their 2012 album release ‘From The Shadows’ scheduled for September. With the album containing 12 original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, BSE delivers the perfect Drum and Bass experience. Black Sun Empire’s sound on ‘From The Shadows’ is as unmistakable as it is without compromise. A combination of dark and impressive themes, vocals, tough electronics, and memorable melodies. Collabs with Noisia, Audio, Foreign Beggars, Amatorski, Rido, Thomas Oliver, Youthstar and N.Phect showcase their expanding horizon. Musically, ‘From the Shadows’ sees Black Sun Empire move towards exciting areas.
Building a name for themselves in the last decade as true innovators of the Drum and Bass scene as we know it today, Black Sun Empire continuously capture the interest of a new generation of drum and bass lovers while maintaining one of the most committed fanbases in electronic music.
Salar Saeidi, a California native known by his better name of Blankface, has been running through the bass scene with his articulate sound since he began producing beats in late 2009. In 2013, Blankface and MAZE, Arthur Darbinyan, founded their label, Savage Society, an artist collective of young, divergent producers that are making heads turn within the bass community with their eminently dynamic sound.
Currently residing in Orange County, California, Blankface has been up to no good, plotting his most vicious attack on the bass scene, producing some of the most savage dubstep bass culture has ever heard. The 24-year-old gathers inspiration from artists, such as Jakes, Subfiltronik, Benga and utilizes his own skills and creative mind as his weapon of choice to muster an influential onslaught of tracks that riddle and inject shock stricken bodies with sub-bass. With support from 12th Planet, Jakes, Shiverz, & many more, everyone will undoubtedly want to keep an eye, or an ear, out for this young and talented innovative producer.
In order to set the pace, one must never stop moving. It’s the only way to effectively bob and weave between encroaching trends and consistently remain steps ahead of the zeitgeist. Borgore doesn’t halt—ever. His onslaught is relentless with the release of The Buygore Album his second full-length studio album and first for his own Buygore label set for January 2015.
The electronic dance music renaissance man (rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, Buygore Records head honcho, and lady killer) has solidified himself as one of the genre’s most prolific artists and label bosses. Writing melodies, playing drums and keys, singing, and producing, he literally handles every aspect himself. He personally ensures that legions of fans worldwide receive the best experience imaginable from every release and gig.
2014 proved to be a massive milestone for Borgore. His debut full-length #NEWGOREORDER [Buygore/Dim Mak] captured #1 on iTunes Top Electronic Albums Chart, #3 on Billboard’s Electronic Albums Chart, #3 on the Top New Artist Albums Chart, and more. Iconic A Clockwork Orange star Malcolm McDowell and Miley Cyrus both enthusiastically jumped at the chance to collaborate with him, while he performed for sold out crowds everywhere from the Budweiser Made In America Festival and TomorrowWorld to the Mad Decent Boat Party. However, 2015 sees him break ground once again with the release of The Buygore Album and the launch of its companion jaunt: The Buygore Show Tour.
For the first time in the history of Buygore Records, Borgore assembles the roster’s artists for both an album and a tour exclusively comprised of “family.” This is his unbridled vision and he’s bringing BLVKSTAR, Ookay, Jauz, Dotcom, Riggi & Piros and “Unicorn Zombie Apocalypse” collaborator Sikdope along for the ride.
Since first founding the label, Borgore always wanted to launch a full-blown tour with all of its artists. 2015 provided the right moment to bring this dream to life. In between the sold out #NEWGOREORDER TOUR, he tirelessly worked on these collaborations, whether it be in his cabin during a boat party or backstage. The label’s familial mentality yields an explosive chemistry on The Buygore Album’s seven tracks. This is a group of bros just as down to go bowling or go-karting together as it is to hit the studio.
The first single “Lindsay Lohan” brings Borgore and Jauz together for a booming and bombastic bass romp. Trap production resounds in between the titular robotic refrain, churning out a bona fide banger and homage to the ultimate party girl. Meanwhile “Can’t Squad With Us” allows Borgore to expand once again with a dynamic vocal performance and declaration of his squad’s love and independence. Then, there’s BLVCKSTAR and Ookay’s “Blow Your Mind” featuring Borgore. It’s a slithering scuzzy and sexy anthem meant to burn a hole through the dance floor.
Each of these talents continues to engender excitement amongst listeners. Recently, Dotcom was sought by hip hop superstars, Far East Movement to do an official remix for their album which was released through Interscope. Jauz is currently working on a number of official remixes for various labels as well as putting together an EP. Ookay and Pizza are just friends now so he's ready for whatever.
With The Buygore Show and The Buygore Show Tour, Borgore once again doesn’t stop.
From the track record of Robert Balotsky's work as Buku, it’s clear that the Pittsburgh native and graduate of Music Technology is a well-equipped architect of twisted, layered soundscapes. With a menacing grasp on sound design and music theory, Buku combines deceptively simple and emotive melodies, laden with resounding low-end and intricate drum patterns. With a love of drums rooting from childhood, his work reflects his passion – emitting percussive elements only a trained ear could produce.
Buku’s debut EP release, ‘Janky’, sent a shotgun blast into the Bass Music scene - quickly gaining support and full rotation by Diplo, who described Balotsky’s production style as ‘where dubstep is going’ at the brink of 2013. Following his break into the genre, the producer has been championed by a variety of curators, including Bassnectar, Pete Tong & Zane Lowe, as well as garnering the support of his peers for collaborations with the likes of Paper Diamond, G. Jones, in addition to being tapped for remix duties for Minnesota, Griz, Nick Catchdubs, Brillz & Tropkillaz.
With a strong support from the industry, Buku has seen releases on OWSLA’s NEST HQ, UKF’s Pilot Records, as well as features on Fool’s Gold, Main Course & Mad Decent. The producer’s latest single, ‘Front To Back’, has further solidified his stance in the scene – going viral in only a few weeks upon release, quickly climbing Spotify’s “Global Viral 50” chart to hold the #3 spot, as well as holding a #1 rank on Hype Machine throughout late 2016.
As a result of his consistent output, Buku has quickly placed himself at the forefront of rising talent amongst North American producers – an impressive track record only further supported by his latest EP, ‘No Dramas’, released through the dominant Dutch dance music purveyor, Spinnin’ Records. With more releases slated for the new year, a non-stop touring schedule made up of domestic and international markets, as well as a packed festival season, and continued support from top labels & industry heavyweights, 2017 will surely see Buku’s continued upwards trajectory.
Circus Records UK-born and bred DJ and producer Conrank has quickly established himself as one of bass music’s most innovative voices. After spending years as a globe-trotting musician, including an 8 year residency in Shanghai, Conrank settled into his new home base in Los Angeles, CA in early 2017. In just a few short years, Conrank has swiftly earned the reputation of tearing down any dancefloor he plays to, without exception; bringing his melodic yet frenetic brand of dubstep, grime, and drum n’ bass to stages all across the world.
Conrank cut his musical teeth initially as a beat-boxer in London during the creative peak of the UK grime & hip-hop scene. After touring Europe with neighborhood friend and fellow beat-boxer Killa Kela, Conrank switched gears to track production towards the end of the decade; finding his feet as an artist and writing music for commercial campaigns (Levi’s, etc). After spending years as a bedroom laptop producer he finally emerged as a full-fledged DJ in 2010 with his first live performance, wowing a crowd of thousands at London’s infamous ‘Secret Garden Party’.
Ever restless, Conrank relocated shortly thereafter to China, were he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented and hard working producers living in China. Building upon a series of strong releases, and smashing festival after festival stage, word about Conrank travelled back to the West, catching the ear of the legendary DJ Shadow. Shadow hand-selected Conrank for a release on his newly minted label, Liquid Amber, in 2016. 2016 also saw the release of official remixes for G Jones and Champagne Drip as well as original track collaborations with Bleep Bloop, Yheti, and DJ Shadow himself. Conrank’s releases on Saturate Records, Stylss, Sleeveless Records, and Wakaan benefitted from steady track support by renowned DJs like A-Trak, Gaslamp Killer, DJ Craze, Buku, and more. Conrank capped an already big 2016 with a performance alongside Skrillex, on the OWSLA-hosted “Boiler Room-Asia”, which garnered over 4 million streams worldwide.
The start of 2017 signaled a musical return to Conrank’s UK grime & bass roots and is already shaping up to be Conrank’s breakout year. His first single, “Future Forward”, described by Magnetic Magazine as “genre-defying” and “bringing dub, trap, and bass to a whole other dimension”, has already become his most streamed track-to-date. March 22nd will see the release of a 4-track EP for Bassrush Records, a label imprint of Insomniac Events (creators of EDC, Beyond Wonderland). Conrank will follow up the release with an exclusive mix for NEST HQ on April 12th.

Their catchy sound and stage-performances didn't go unnoticed. They got picked up by all the big organizations promoting Harddance which resulted in many main-performances from 2006 till date. In preparation of this night, they produced and released an Artist album, called: Music made addictz. This cd was very well received and putted them right on top of the scene.
2010 brought them to their ultimate goals. By getting asked for January 2011's X-Qlusive D-Block & S-te-Fan was their dream coming true. This solo event, which takes place in the Heineken Music Hall (7500) in Amsterdam. In preparation to this event they did an anthem for 10 years of Q-Dance, a party held in the Amsterdam Arena (40000) and were the closing act of Mysteryland (65000). With huge demand on tickets they organized a "running up" party in Rotterdam's Outland(3200) which got sold out for the first time ever on a special night about a Harddance artist.
It was this night where they heard about their top 100 entry in the most prestigious Dj-list; the DJ MAG top 100. Placed #73 they were crowned "Worlds #1 Harddance duo".Living up to their title, they sold out their solo-event in the HMH 12 weeks in advance. This year they rose to #40 in 2012’sDJ Mag top 100.

Besides the tour and a very busy European schedule, they managed to release over 20 tracks already in 2011. Being featured in this years DJ-MAG again makes an end to any doubt. Harddance is here to stay, and Harddance is D-Block & S-te-Fan!

Isaac has been very successful with various trance projects, including Alice Deejay. This particular project reached gold and platinum album sales all over the world, something he would later do again with hardstyle anthems “On the Edge” and “Go Insane.” The latter can be considered as the international breakthrough of this sound, igniting artists worldwide to follow and build a harder dance scene. Ganja White Night is an electronic music band whose early influences are found at the roots of "Bass-Music". During the past decade, the duo traveled many countries in Europe and beyond. The band takes a new creative direction tinted with hip-hop and more generally hybrid electronic music after the release of their fourth album "Addiction" in 2014.
They decided to break the fetters that connected them almost exclusively to "Dubstep" and started using other forms of expression. It is therefore with their new album "Hybrid Distillery" that the group now has to make an impression by imposing its style in other genres of electronic music. This fifth album is not only another acoustic chapter, it is also about graphics. The draftsman/graffiti artist/director "Ebola - Delit2fuite" brings a whole new visual world mixed with, just like Ganja White Night, artistic originality and singularity never achieved until now.
Ever since the Gentlemens Club formed in 2013, the UK-based trio have proved unstoppable, breathing new life into the global dubstep and bass scene with edgy hip-hop and grime influenced bangers.
Respectively Coffi (Lewis Pittham), Soloman (Saul Mountford) & 50 Carrot (Amani Haskins) developed their own unique low-end heavy styles, now fused together under the household name–Gentlemens Club. Their influence spans several successful years of international tours, viral VIP’s and massive remixes. Building on the collective’s widespread appeal, they've steadily built their empire in the form of a GC imprint and sought after apparel line.
Poised to take over the world, you won’t find another more dedicated bass squad with their unforgettably swagged out live sets and heavyweight barrier breaking beats. Get a dose of pure class and make sure to catch them at an event near you.
North London trio Ivy Lab were brought together out of a shared enthusiasm for experimentations on the fringes of the Drum’n’Bass scene. Several years on from that initial coming together, the collective go from strength to strength; propagating a new generation of sub-genres housed within the framework of their ’20/20’ project.
The middle of the noughties saw collective-elder Gove Kidao build up a sustained presence as a Producer/DJ operating under the name Sabre, working on disparate interpretations of the drum and bass genre for labels ranging from Renegade Hardware to Metalheadz to Darkestral. In 2009 Critical Music served not only as the home for Sabre’s debut long player, but also the debut track from an unknown young talent advocated by Sabre to the label. J Fogel a.k.a Stray enjoyed broad acclaim for his inaugural release “Timbre”, and began to work on further projects for Critical Music, including collaborating with Sabre himself. Unknown to them both, each had independently struck up a relationship with another emerging talent operating under the moniker Halogenix. Collaborating as separate duos soon expanded into combining into a formal trio, casting the foundations of the collective that exists today.
A string of standout singles and E.Ps for their principle label-partner Critical music with tracks like “Live on your smile” and “20 Questions” have followed up on the groups melancholic, acid-tinged strand first showcased in the anthemic single “Oblique” that initially brought the trio into the limelight. Additional support has come in the form of Goldie’s Metalheadz recordings with the release of “Make it Clear” and a string of remixes for acts and labels including Sub Focus (Universal), TC (3beat) and Anushka (Brownwood). With a secure reputation as purveyors of thoughtful, melodic drum’n’bass now affirmed, the group have increasingly been turning their attention to experiments in cross-pollination. The collective now find themselves heavily invested in the movement operating under the stop-gap monicker of ‘Halftime’ - A motley assortment of actors from across the bass music landscape applying their sonic-heritage to experiments with hip-hop and drum machine electronica. 2014 saw the birth of ‘2020’. Initially a London clubnight set up to act as a home for the halftime movement, the project is expanding to encompass a record label, 2020 clubnight appearances across the U.K, and the inclusion of a broader collective of artists both established and emerging.
By no means has the scope of the Ivy Lab venture put an end to solo endeavours from the collective’s members. Stray has progressed to amass an impressive catalogue of music including work for Giles Peterson’s Brownswood label, and a remix commission for Mercury award nominee Kate Tempest. Perhaps his most celebrated projects have arrived under the stewardship of dBridge’s Exit Records who have released several stand-out EP’s with tracks such as “Eazy Boy” & “Matchsticks” garnering particular attention for their early-adoption of themes that have gone on to codify the ‘Halftime’ movement. Halogenix is the most recent of the collective to establish a solo presence. 2014 saw a notable upscaling in ambition commencing with “Her Waves” featuring on Critical Music followed by his most impressive project to date in the form of the “All Blue” E.P on Goldie’s Metalheadz record label.
Ivy Lab head into the horizon not only with an anchored presence at the heart of the drum and bass landscape, but also a secured reputation as pioneers helping to develop the destiny of a newly enfranchised movement.
In a little over 6 months, Joyryde has risen from complete unknown to one of the most buzzing acts on the planet. Joyryde's brand of #SwerveHouse is firmly expressed through his massive singles “FLO” and “SPEED TRAP.” Jauz not only champions his “Stick It In Reverse” mix of last summers hit “Feel The Volume,” he has been opening his sets with it for months.
His most recent hit “HARI KARI” made it all the way to BBC Radio 1 via NGHTMRE’s Diplo & Friends mix and was also heard in Yellow Claw’s heralded mixtape series. With every blog raving about the lad, Dancing Astronaut put it best; “At a time of radio-safe club maneuvers, his is a brand out for blood." He ended 2015 with the launch of his self designed apparel line #RYDRWARE.
He opened 2016 with a Rick Ross feature on the 160 BPM "Windows,” a track who's genre still cannot be identified. With an arsenal of unreleased tracks, all the big names chatting about him, and some lofty touring goals, Joyryde is sure to hit the ground running in 2016 ... and bring all his Rydrz with him.
There is no beastly description to illustrate the sounds that emerge from M A Z E. Storming the bass music culture straight out the swamps of Southern California, this mad scientist has incorporated a signature style that has evolved since 2009.

DJ The Prophet, also called the ‘Godfather of Hardstyle’, as he is one of the few acts who has succeeded in maintaining a thriving career from the early days, right up to the modern era. For thirty golden years, DJ The Prophet has achieved personal milestones as he shaped the genre we know today as Hardstyle and cultivated new opportunities for rising artists.
In 1984 DJ The Prophet started with producing Hip Hop, with his first big event named ‘Let The Prophet Rise’ in 1988 with a crowd of 2000 people. In 1990 he started producing Hardcore as one of the pioneers, being part of the Thunderdome generation and the first DJ team in the world "The Dreamteam". He had great successes with tracks like “Dominatin” in 1993, “Big Boys Dont Cry” in 1994, “Allright Now Here We Go!” in 1994 and “Killing Scum”, also from the year 1994 and many more after.
After a decade of Hardcore DJ The Prophet was searching for something new. He played a Hard House set in 1999 on the Q-dance event "Houseqlassics" which surprised everybody. He found what he was looking for, so again as one of the pioneers of the genre, nowadays called Hardstyle, DJ The Prophet started producing the first known Hardstyle tracks with Hardheadz like “Wreck Thiz Place”. In this period of his carreer he performed at every Q-dance event. Being the spiritual father of Scantraxx Recordz and top-tier acts like Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Frontliner and Brennan Heart, he made name as the true Godfather Of Hardstyle. Characteristic releases of this era are "Recession", “Shizzle My Dizzle”, “Wake Up!”, "One Moment" and “Stampuhh!!”.
With a strong antiquity, DJ The Prophet continued his legacy by also shaping Hardstyle’s modern era with his diverse releaseses. From the smashing “Kikkdrum” to “Timemachine” and of course the floorfiller “Caramba!”, DJ The Prophet is endorsed for capturing all the Hardstyle possibilities!
On-stage, the ‘Godfather’ controls the decks like you’ve never seen before. He’s mesmerised crowds of thousands at Defqon.1, EDC Las Vegas, Defqon.1 Australia, Qlimax, Decibel and of course, at his legendary ’30 Years The Prophet’ celebration held in 2016! One thing is for sure: DJ The Prophet is still an important part of the Hard dance genre with a lot of great plans for the future.
The Prototypes are Brighton-based producers and DJs, Chris Garvey and Nick White. Having exploded onto the scene over the past few years, and with DJ support from the likes of Andy C, Knife Party, Zane Lowe, Afrojack, Annie Mac and Krewella to name a few, there’s been no looking back for the production duo with their polished, dancefloor-destroying drum and bass.
Having made their debut on Futurebound’s Viper Recordings in 2010 with the track ‘Evolution’ from the inaugural ‘Summer Slammers’ album, it wasn’t long before The Prototypes caught the attention of some of the scenes leading taste-makers. Following their debut, The Prototypes quickly released their first single ‘Cascade’ on Infrared Records. A huge hit on both radio and across the scene, ‘Cascade’ received Radio 1 support from the likes of: Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Annie Nightingale, Fabio & Grooverider – and was also featured on UKF’s first ever compilation album, ‘UKF Drum & Bass 2010’.
With early support from the likes of Roni Size, Matrix & Futurebound, DJ Friction, J Majik & Wickaman, Andy C, Pendulum, and DJ Fresh, The Prototypes quickly became one of the most hotly-tipped production duos in the scene.
After being featured in Pendulum’s 2010 Essential Mix, The Prototypes unleashed the vocal anthem ‘Breathless’ on Formation Records to huge acclaim worldwide. Having now cemented their place in the scene, The Prototypes signed with DJ Friction’s Shogun Audio in 2011. Wasting no time in making their presence known, the duo released their debut EP, ‘Born To Rise’, followed by the monster single ‘Pandora’ / ‘Abyss’.
The end of 2012 saw The Prototypes release arguably their biggest track to date with the big euphoric dancefloor vibes of, ‘Suffocate’ from the EP of the same name. Never resting on their laurels, they returned less than a month later with another huge hit, ‘Blackout’, which featured the vocals of MC ID reminding us “it’s time to tear the roof off”. The Brighton boys next teamed up with vocalist Takura (of Chase & Status fame) in typical cinematic fashion to produce the haunting sounds of ‘Rage Within’, one of the finest examples of The Prototypes ability to produce vocal anthems that also cause bassline warfare on the dancefloor.
Also one of the busiest production teams on the remix front, The Prototypes credits read as a who’s who of some of the biggest names in dance and electronic music. With remixes for the likes of: Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Bingo Players, Hadouken, Modestep, AlunaGeorge, Fleur, Don Diablo, Ian Carey feat. Snoop Dogg, DJ Vadim, The Qemists, Friction, and Koven – it’s not hard to see why The Prototypes have become so high in demand.
Entering into the next chapter of their careers, The Prototypes have now signed with Viper Recordings and will release debut album in a matter on months. With ‘Just Bounce’ featured on Andy C’s ‘Nightlife 6’ album last year, their first single from the forthcoming 'City of Gold' LP has just dropped. The massive 'Pale Blue Dot,' with 'Lights' on the flip, has gathered a wealth of support from DJs and fans alike. The future has never been brighter for one of the most exciting production outfits in recent years.
As first generation Mexican-Americans, Skellism knows exactly what the term hard work means. With the pressure from their parents to succeed, Sergio Garcia and Francisco Romo have done nothing but used that pressure to channel their inner creative to make a name for themselves in this crazy world called the music industry. Harnessing the energy of the environment they grew up in, Skellism have channeled that into some of the hardest records to hit the scene. In 2017 they released their long awaited original with Lil Jon respectfully titled “In The Pit” on the newly re-launched Geffen Records. The mosh pit anthem went viral in its first week of release with over half a million plays and landing in the Spotify USA Viral Charts at #8 and #17 in the Viral Global Charts. Skellism’s records have been supported by some of the biggest names in dance music such as The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Carnage, and Flosstradamus truly making them one of the hardest artist to ever cross over into the pop world. Having released on some of the biggest hard dance labels such as Hard With Style & Q-Dance, and gracing the stages of some of the biggest festivals in the world such as TomorrowWorld and Defqon.1 Australia. Skellism look to continue to push their sound to new heights with every release.
