Andrew Rayel

DJ / Producer

He's the modern-day Mozart -- today's leading talent in the ever-growing trance and electronic dance music scene. He's the pride of Moldova, known for his unique and very own sound. He is Andrei Rata, better known as Andrew Rayel.

Born on July 21st, 1992, his young age never stopped him from taking the lead amongst the next generation of EDM producers. Developing strong musical skills, he studied orchestral music and kicked off his producing career at only 13 years of age. It didn't take long for the passionate music lover to translate his ideas into sounds. He created a truly unique sonic signature - one of piano power, harmonic balance, and euphoric tales. And so, years later, his originals and remixes are praised by many and loved by more. But, rest assured, the Andrew Rayel story has only just begun.

"Trance was the perfect solution, as it is a combination of melody, harmony and energy, elements that I prefer the most", says Andrew Rayel. Having Armin van Buuren supporting his tracks on the world famous A State of Trance radio show had always been a dream of Andrew. And sometimes, dreams come true. His tracks '550 Senta', 'How Do I Know' ft. Jano, 'Aeon of Revenge', 'Aether', 'Deflagration', 'Musa' and 'Zeus' , ‘Dark Warrior’ , ‘One In A Million’ and much more all made it to the show, often voted Tune of the Week and Future Favourite. The trance scene embraced Andrew's refreshing sound, giving him a very warm welcome.

His tracks found a solid home on the A State of Trance and Armind labels, both part of the Armada Music family. With such impressive originals, it didn't take long until the Rayel sound became hot property for remixes. And so, Andrew was lucky enough to take on remix duties for tracks by Armin van Buuren, Tommy Trash, Tiësto, W&W, Dash Berlin, and many more. Earning the support of the DJ elite, the Rayel sound has spread all across the globe, from underground clubs to mainstream festivals.

Though his career is fairly young, Andrew has already DJed the world's most legendary clubs and massive festivals. From Kazantip, Global Gathering, Creamfields, A State Of Trance , Trancefusion, Trancemission, Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnivals, Ball En Blanc and much more.

Not to forget performing and selling out world wide venues such as New City Gas, Exchange LA, Marquee New York, Ruby Sky SanFransisco, Zouk Kuala Lumpur & Singapore, Colossium in Jakarta, not to forget the magical Island "Ibiza" in which he has performed at clubs such as Ushuaia Amnesia, & Privilege, and much more as well as earning a Las Vegas Residency at the age of 21 at Marquee Las Vegas.

As a result of his hard work and dedication, fans voted him to become one of the Top 100 DJS in the world, as well as breakout dj & producer and highest climber in the poll voting, along side many world wide nominations such as the IDMA (International Dance Music Awards) which is hosted yearly in Miami during Winter Music Conference week.

The same goes for the highly anticipated Andrew Rayel debut album. Set for release on Armada Music, trance land eagerly holds its breath, craving more of Andrew's magic dancing dust. Andrew's very first and official compilation: 'Mystery of Aether' came out on Armada Music in early September, 2013.

2014 was the year that saw the first ever artist album from Andrew Rayel entitled “Find Your Harmony” which has taken the world by storm alongside his sensation hit collaboration with Armin Van Buuren “EIFORYA”.

The road to success has just begun and Andrew Rayel is ready to take on the world in the years ahead.

"I believe music is a universal language that unites people with nothing but love. I intend to make sure that my tracks are all about emotions and happiness. That's what's driving music, making the world a better place", says Andrew Rayel.

Ruben de Ronde

DJ / Producer

Synthesizing the landscape surrounding him, Statement! Music!’s Ruben De Ronde keeps his progressive, trance and chilled out mind set in overdrive- striking a signature musical balance. Owning a tune in all he surpasses, the celebrated Dutchman takes his studio to the crowds from his Armada residency to festivals, and A State Of Trance tours with Armin Van Buuren around the globe. DJ, producer and label owner, Ruben has all bases covered, taking his genre spectrum to the next level- always.

In the studio, he is no victim to the genre black hole, breaking the mold across the prolific trance and progressive domes while taking the chilled out tips for a ride. His global recognition has tainted dance floors of the ASOT world that he embarks on with solo efforts, while collaborating with acclaimed artists like Tenishia and singers like Shannon Hurley, Nanje Nowack, Victoria Ray and Aelyn. Following with remixes for Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate and Above & Beyond, his studio barely rests. A milestone in itself, the soundscape album ‘From Sao Paulo To Sofia’ has gone from the ASOT600/650/700/750 tour to the hands of Hardwell where it’s been featured in the I Am Hardwell AND United We Are World tours while shining in the fellow Dutchman’s documentary also. In tune, Ruben’s track ‘Stoer’ walked into the hands of Joris Voorn’s Rejected Records where it saw the tech driven artist embrace its entrance. The highlight of 2015 was, without a doubt, creating the official anthem song for the world largest outdoor trance festival, Amsterdam’s ‘Electronic Family Festival’.

Stepping outside the studio and Ruben De Ronde unleashes in the clubs and upon the stage, dominating bill spots across Ultra Music Festival (Miami), Dance valley, Nature One’s main stage, Kazantip, A State of Trance live events and gracing half a million people welcoming in Hanoi’s new year. As DJ Mag’s trance reviewer in Holland and crowned boss of ‘Sound of Holland’ weekly radio sessions on Afterhours FM and Sirius XM, Ruben hits a nerve within the electronic music industry, also taking a firm stand as host on ‘Tomorrowland Radio’ and ‘Armada Night Radio’.

A new album is coming in the beginning of 2016, so keep your eyes and ears out for that one!

David Gravell

DJ / Producer

For David Gravell, the night is calling. And boy, does he give it an answer. Busting out one solid production after another, the global crowds have embraced his unique sound. No longer will his tracks be the long-kept ID’s in the sets of W&W and Armin van Buuren, from now on, EDM-world knows exactly how to recognize a Gravell tune when they hear one. And the good thing is, there’s plenty more where that came from. After his breakthrough in 2014, 2015 is the year of David Gravell. Driven by relentless energy and open to different styles, it didn’t take long until Mainstage Music superstars W&W discovered the many talents of Amsterdam based studio wizard David Gravell. As it turned out, 2013 was David’s year of chances. After delivering his track ‘Fire Away’ to W&W’s Mainstage Vol.1 , David made sure it was quickly succeeded with a solo release, the all-destroying ‘Bulldozer’. Heavily supported by the industry’s peers, even rocking Armin van Buuren’s Essential Mix on BBC1 radio, it led to many new paths of success for the young talent. With a keen ear for fusion and the big-room skills up his sleeves, David Gravell is the must-watch name for 2015. Beckoned by David’s energetic ways with electro, trance and house, remix duties came flooding in from names like Audien, Mark SIxma & Jerome Isma Ae, Andy Moor, Bobina and Andain. After bringing us bangers like ‘Megatron’, ‘Timebomb’, ‘Supernova', ‘The Last Of Us’, he now brings us ‘It’s In Your Heart’. Receiving the heavy support of Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, W&W, Andrew Rayel, Dash Berlin and Porter Robinson, as well as a list of gigs that include Ultra Miami, Electronic Family, A State of Trance 650 event in Utrecht, 700 event in Sydney and 719 event in Ibiza, Summerfestival, Sunburn Tour and Creamfields, it’s safe to say we’re dealing with the future here.

Jonathan Mendelsohn

Vocalist / MC

For singer/songwriter/producer Jonathan Mendelsohn, the last few years have been a whirlwind of musical collaborations and rebirths, putting him on a trajectory towards the release of his long-awaited debut album.

Since bursting onto the music scene, performing his soulful self-penned pop song “Over” before Showtime at the Apollo’s notoriously discerning crowd, Mendelsohn has collaborated with the hottest names in dance music, including Hardwell, Fedde Le Grand, Dash Berlin, Laidback Luke, Blasterjaxx, Morgan Page, Brennan Heart,  and many more more, writing and producing vocals for some of the biggest names in the electronic dance music scene today.

His signature brand of electro-tinged dance pop, infectious melodies and vocal arrangements has even garnered him such disparate comparisons to reigning critically-acclaimed darling, Robyn, radio favorites One Republic and Adam Levine of Maroon 5.  “Working with such a wide range of producers over the years,” Jonathan explains, “has been not only a necessary step in making a name for myself in the music industry, but an exercise in developing my sound even further. I work really hard to make my songs a unique experience for the listener. I want them to hear my voice and know instantly who the singer is. That is what being an artist is all about for me.”

From a very young age, Jonathan Mendelsohn knew that he was destined to lead a life dominated by music. Born in Brooklyn and raised in upstate New York, his singing career began pretty early. “I would carry my battery powered Fisher Price radio around with me the entire day. I would wail every TOP40 song on the radio into the tiny plastic mic attached to it, singing marathon sessions. Clearly I was prepping myself for things to come.”

Learning chord progressions from his concert pianist mother, Mendelsohn began writing his own songs at age 11. “I think the more I started to realize that I was different from most people, I started to fuel my songs with these trapped emotions. I have always been really grateful that I have had songwriting as an outlet to express myself.”

His love affair with pop music began with early ‘90’s Top 40 radio with favorites like Babyface, Paula Abdul, C+C Music Factory and Mariah Carey. Singer-songwriters like Tori Amos and Bjork were also early influences, along with the hypnotic music of Radiohead and Pink Floyd. It wasn’t until Mendelsohn discovered rave culture in high school that he was seduced by electronic music. Inspired by the energy and unique sonic soundscapes that could be created with synthesizers and computers, he dove into the world of music production, returning to NYC in 2000 where he took courses in audio engineering while building his home studio from the ground up.

His jaw-dropping four-week, season winning streak on Showtime at the Apollo lead to a collaboration with Chris Brann’s Wamdue Project on the track “Forgiveness,” and a record deal with Sony BMG’s now defunct sub label, Music with a Twist. Work on Way Out West’s 2009 album, “We Love Machine”, caught the ear of Dutch label owner Dick DeGroot who commissioned Jonathan to collaborate with trance producer “Nic Chagall.”  From this collaboration birthed the magical track “This Moment” which was played several times on Armin Van Buuren’s “A State Of Trance” radio show as well as released on his annual “Universal Religion” CD. In 2010, renowned modern dance choreographer, Mia Michaels, chose the song for the season finale of the wildly popular dance competition show “So You Think You Can Dance,” choreographing the top 10 dancers in an exhilarating performance.   It was this song that caught the ear of trance superstar Dash Berlin, who sought Jonathan out in hopes to collaborate with him and from that joining of forces, birthed a new platform for him to share his songs with the world.   Their songs “Better Half of Me” “World Falls Apart” and “Steal You Away” have been highly acclaimed by the trance community and have catapulted Jonathan to a new level of international visibility and success.

Becoming one of the most sought after male voices in EDM, Jonathan has gone on to collaborate with Cosmic Gate, Orjan Nilsen, Andrew Rayel, “One In A Million,”  Brennan Heart on the hugely successful hardstyle anthem “Imaginary,  as well as being chosen to sing “Miracle,” his collaboration with Fedde Le Grand, for Fedde’s exciting new concert spectacle “GRAND” in Amsterdam at the royal theater of Holland.  The song was dubbed the official theme song of the show which Jonathan opened and closed each night. Also,  most recently he collaborated with DJ Hardwell, DJMAG winner of #1 DJ in the world 2 years running. The song “Echo” was released as his second single off his long awaited album #UnitedWeAre to rave reviews.

Jonathan continues his success as one of the most sought out topline writers in the electronic dance music world today and is continuously captivating audiences worldwide with his unique vocal talents, dynamic live performances and prolific songwriting abilities. With many high profile projects in the works for the coming year, he has, in a very short time, already established himself as an unstoppable force in the industry.
