Tom Green – aka Rockwell – has without question been one of the most exhilarating talents to come out of the drum and bass scene in recent times, heralded by the likes of Billboard, Fact Magazine, Resident Advisor, Mixmag and DJ Mag and with releases on some of the biggest labels in the game including Metalheadz, Ministry Of Sound, Sony Music, Critical, Neosignal, Shogun Audio and many more. 

Tracks such as ‘Please Please Please (Play This On The Radio)’, ‘Underpass’, ‘Detroit’, ‘Full Circle’, ‘Childhood Memories’ and the most recent ‘Chorus Of Disapproval’ EP have highlighted Rockwell as one of the most original producers in drum & bass, created with painstaking construction, beautiful arrangements and seemingly effortless ingenuity. With his music regularly demolishing club dance floors or radio waves alike – his classic ‘Detroit’ famously blew up Zane Lowe’s studio speakers live on BBC Radio 1 – the Rockwell sound has been supported across the board from Andy C, Chase & Status and Friction to Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Mistajam and Huw Stephens. As well as original productions Rockwell is also a prolific remixer having re-worked huge tracks from Netsky, London Grammar, Riton, Friction & Skream, Joseph Salvat amongst others. 

Since hosting his own show as part of Radio 1’s Residency and ‘In New DJ’s’ features his debut album ‘Obsolete Medium’ released in 2015 was received to critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard who picked it as one of their top 10 LP’s of the year and in early 2016 Rockwell delivered a coveted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. With his DJ shows throughout the UK, Europe and Australiasia only increasing and even his own monthly feature with the Skrillex-owned Nest HQ website, the Rockwell expansion continues with even bigger things in store for 2017.

A formidable DJ, Rockwell sets have been lighting up clubs and festival stages all over the world. Whether he’s playing a Radio 1 show or a heaving club, his tendency to switch the BPM’s during his hi-octane drum & bass performances has truly set him apart. Behind the decks as in the studio, Rockwell always keeps you on your toes.
